The group's history
On the initiative of Erwan Bourcier, piano teacher at the music school of Changé, multi-instrumentalist, member of the Bajka's group, the Changé's improvisation workshop was born in September, 2004.
The new group formed by Romain, Benjamin, Arnaud, Marion, Anna and the Nils began in the improvisation with classics of jazz. Their first performance, in December, 2004, took place during a Mard'Ondines, organized by the Changé's music school.
At the beginning of year 2006, we integrated Kévin to our workshop, then we participated to a masterclass with a member of the Cabadzi's troop, Steeve, to work the free improvisation. He also made us an initiation into the recording to create our first CD.
After that, we participated in the Changé's Spring Day in 2006 by opening and closing the parade. Then we played in first part of the groups Quartet Caliente (Piazzolla music awards on 2004) and Quartet to the Jazz's Festival of Meslay du Maine.
Within the framework of a musical exchange between the music schools of Changé and Ichenhausen ( Bavaria), we went to conquer the Germany stage. During the cultural, musical visits, and the transport by car, we baptized our group: Impro' bables. Following this journey, we welcomed Marie in our group.
24 Mars 2007, we met the Jazz Potes during a private concert. Next week, we participated at the Changé's Spring Day. Then, we made a representation for the 10 years of the festival of Meslay du Maine in first part of the " Gros Cube d'Alban DARCHE ". To finish the year, we participated at different Music Day in the department.
In September, 2007, we welcomed Florent Le Maguet as saxophonist. Then, we made a masterclass with Denis Charolles, then a concert with him. After a performance to the jazz festival of Meslay du Maine, we played in the square of the médiapôle of Laval for the Music Day.
Maud joined us during the start of the school year 2008. We have to realize a second masterclass with Denis Charolles then we plunged into the psychedelic universe of the Pink Floyd to participate in a unique project around this mythical group. Then we have been to Germany to play at the Kulturefestival in Bavaria. It was a festival gathering numerous twinned cities of Europe. We played at the festival of Meslay du Maine then at the Changé and Laval Music's Day. To continue, we participated at the RAM's (relay of Maternal Assistance) inauguration of Changé. To finish the year, we will probably go to play on August 23rd in saint Mâlo's wall.
September 2009: a new Impro'bables has joined the group: Nicolas Thibodeaux. We have continued the masterclass with meet, this year, Andy Emler, a French jazz pianist. He has taught us to play tracks on the stage with hands codes. He has taught us the dorien and lydien mode too.
